Whether you have a nice, big space dedicated solely to sewing and crafts or you take over the family dining room table in order to get your sewing fix, being organized is key to a productive sewing session. No matter how messy things get while in the throws of a sewing project, if you want to optimize your precious time, things need a place to be when you’re ready to use them. Thread spool organization has always been something I’ve put on the back burner but the more thread spools I collect, the more I realize I need a better way to store them. And once I started digging around the sewing blog world, I realized there are so many options. You can keep them covered and dust free or display them in rainbow order (which in my opinion is a must). With all of this in mind, I’ve gathered together my favorites in one place for anyone else looking to upgrade their thread spool organization.
