This adorable briefcase pattern comes with pockets galore that you can mix and match and alter to your hearts content to create the perfect carry all for your wee one. The pattern comes with pieces for a crayon OR pencil pocket, book pocket, and zippered, see through pocket.
The pattern calls for all of the pockets to be on the inside of the bag but, I switched the pattern up just a wee bit by putting the see through pocket on the outside of the bag so the boy’s favorite things can be gotten to with ease. I had a lovely metal zipper for this pocket which, I’m hoping, will make it a little less noisy during the pastor’s sermon on Sundays.
And while I still have a little bit of fixing to do (don’t look too close because I accidentally sewed the book-pencil pocket on backwards), I love the fact that this bag has individual pockets for each writing instrument.
I also love that that particular pocket can be altered for a bazillion different sized pockets for all the little things your child wants to carry with them. This bad boy is meant for car travel and church but it can easily be made for holding Lego mini-figures, blocks, overnight clothes and just about a million other things.
