Next, fold your rectangle in half and then in half again and mark where center is. Once this is marked, open the rectangle once and cut a half circle for the neck opening. Using the hood piece from another pattern will help make this mark accurate. Then cut four hood pieces, two of the outer fabric and two of the lining. Sew the outer hood pieces, right sides together along the outer, rounded edge. Repeat with the lining pieces.
Cut four triangles on the fold (2 inch sides). Open each triangle and pin it to the right side of the center hood seam.
Sew down the center of each triangle, then fold them back up and sew around the raw edges.
Kids can just stop after the target of their choice and wreck havoc or be the friendly neighbor, as the dragon they imagine.
