I saw this pillow over at Cluck Cluck Sew last month and HAD to make one. Like, literally, right then and there. I’m so glad Allison is such a caring and generous blogger. Her pattern was simple and easy to use and I’m loving how it turned out.
Sadly for me, this one is on it’s way to my sister as an apartment warming gift. I’ve been sitting on this Anna Maria Horner Voile fabric for almost a year now because I was waiting for the perfect project and I’m happy I waited. It makes for such a soft, silky pillow.
I’ll be honest with you, I almost kept it for myself. In the end, I decided it was such an easy, quick project that it would have been TOTALLY selfish to keep it. If only my sister knew what a sacrifice I made one her behalf. Thank goodness fat quarters go a long way.
